As a Broward County medical director for VITAS® Healthcare, Dr. John Zaravinos leads hospice care teams in ensuring patients receive quality end-of-life care. He is described as “always available for his patients, families, and staff no matter the time or day.”
Dr. Zaravinos received his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada. He also earned an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a master’s in Nutrition from Columbia University in New York City. He is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine and internal medicine. In addition to English, he is fluent in Greek and proficient in Spanish.
