As medical director for VITAS® Healthcare, Dr. Andy Arwari oversees hospice and palliative care for patients throughout Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. Dr. Arwari says, “Hospice brings together the resources necessary for the best possible care for patients nearing the end of life.”
Dr. Arwari is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine and earned his medical degree at Facultad de Ciencias Medicas Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina. He completed his internal medicine residency at Lincoln Hospital in New York City. Dr. Arwari also holds a master’s degree in palliative care and is currently working on his Ph.D.
