The Dominican Health Care Association of Florida (DOHCAF) recently celebrated its formation with a gala honoring Dominican physicians in Florida. The gala, aptly named “ Noche en Honor al Medico Dominicano” was held at the Marriott Dadeland and was attended by over 230 physicians and their spouses as well as other Health care professionals, community leaders, and related agencies.The event was an unprecedented collaboration between the organization, the consulate general of the Dominican Republic, and over twenty health care providers in the community.
