Nicklaus Children’s Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Daniel Ruggles, was recently recognized with the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO) Humanitarian Award. Honoring individuals with a commitment to addressing key health concerns, Dr. Ruggles dedicates extensive time to his volunteer work with CURE international, is the director of the Limb Lengthening and Deformity Corrections Program at Nicklaus Children’s as well as the director of the pediatric fellowship program within the hospital.
