Palm Beach County Medical Society (PBCMS) recently installed Marc Hirsh, M.D., FACP, as the President. The 2018 Palm Beach County Medical Society President Brandon Luskin, M.D., passed the gavel to Dr. Marc Hirsh, who will serve during a very special year — the 100-year Centennial of the Palm Beach County Medical Society.
As a nationally recognized musculoskeletal ultrasound instructor, Dr. Marc Hirsh, of The Hirsh Center in Delray Beach, is a leader in the field of rheumatology. As the Palm Beach County Arthritis Foundation’s Medical Honoree, Dr. Hirsh is devoted to raising local awareness about arthritis. He volunteers his time toward fighting arthritis and finding a cure for the nation’s number one cause of disability.
Dr. Hirsh graduated Phi Beta Kappa with his Bachelor of Science degree and his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. After an internship at Northwestern University in Chicago, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami. He served on the faculty for one year as chief resident before completing his subspecialty training in rheumatology at the University of Miami.
