Michael A. Weston, M.D., MBA, FACEP, was recently installed as President of the Broward County Medical Association at their Annual Dinner held at the Westin Diplomat Resort.
Dr. Weston graduated from Rutgers Medical School, completed a residency in General Surgery from the affiliated hospitals of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine from the affiliated hospitals of the University of Massachusetts College of Medicine. Dr. Weston also obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami School of Business. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Weston served as Chair of the Medical Association’s Emergency Medical Services Committee from 2001-2006, on the Board of Directors from 2001-present, and the Board of Trustees from 2004-present. He has served on the Broward County Healthy Start Coalition Board from 1998-present, and served as Board President from 2003-2006.
Dr. Weston is the Medical Director of the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services.
