Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation hosted an “Under the Stars” themed prom in Hollywood, FL, creating a magical evening for teen patients battling illness. For many who were unable to attend their own school proms, this special night offered a joyful escape – a chance to dress up, celebrate, and connect with friends.
Dunkin’s mascot, Cuppy, helped crown the Prom DunKing and DunQueen, while the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders brought high energy and encouragement to the celebration. The event featured a variety of fun activities, including a caricature artist, airbrush tattoos, a cotton candy cart, an LED robot, a 360-video booth, and more.
This prom was one of 19 held across the country in 2025 as part of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation’s mission to bring the simple joys of childhood to kids facing serious illness.
