Michelle Edwards, BSN, RN, joined Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale as a clinical support coordinator in March 2018. Then, soon after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Miramar, she became an emergency room nurse and clinical lead at Holy Cross in March 2020. In this role, she collaborates with interdisciplinary teams of doctors and residents to provide comprehensive care to patients, addresses patient needs and concerns, and reviews organizational policies and procedures with new graduate and experienced nurses. She previously served as an office manager at Sunrise Medical Group in Hollywood, senior patient service specialist and team lead at Select Physical Therapy in Coral Springs and office assistant at Breast Diagnostics in Aventura. Edwards also holds a bachelor’s degree in health administration from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and associate’s degree in health administration from Broward College in Davie.
