ArtServe and Holy Cross Hospital kicked off Women’s History Month by celebrating the achievements and influence of strong women around the world during a reception for “Femme in Depth,” a joint art exhibition on display at the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women’s Center at Holy Cross HealthPlex.

“Femme in Depth” features pieces by Niki Gilmore, Carla Golembe and Jennifer Haley. Drawing inspiration from powerful women in history as well as the influential women in their own lives, these acclaimed emerging artists channel the wisdom and strength of their fellow “femmes” through the art on display in “Femme in Depth.”

“Coordinating this exhibit was incredibly rewarding both personally and professionally,” said ArtServe Curator and Programs Manager Sophie Bonet. “ArtServe’s partnership with Holy Cross Hospital is so important because it enables us to engage new audiences, introducing them to talented artists and their work. Planned for Women’s History Month, we are featuring talented female artists and celebrating the accomplishments and positive impact of women from all walks of life.”

“Femme in Depth” is on display through the end of March. For more information about ArtServe, call 954-462-8190, contact information@artserve.org or visit www.ArtServe.org.
