According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ employment projections, Registered Nursing is projected to grow 26 percent from 2010 to 2020, faster than the average for all occupations. To help meet the demand, Lauderdale Lakes-based Florida Career College (FCC) has launched a new nursing program at its Lauderdale Lakes and Kendall locations.

FCC now offers a two-year, four-semester Associate’s Degree program at the Lauderdale Lakes campus and its Kendall campus located. Upon graduation from the Level 1 program, nursing students will be qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to receive the Registered Nurse (RN) designation.

FCC Lauderdale Lakes and Kendall also offer a one-year, three-semester Associate’s Degree transitional program for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) seeking to become RNs.

For more information, call the Lauderdale Lakes campus at (954) 535-8700 and the Kendall campus at (305) 384-7900.
