July 13 2020 – The Florida Medical Association PAC (FMA PAC), Florida’s leading advocate for electing pro-medicine candidates to office, today endorsed Democrat candidate, and current State Rep. Tina Polsky in her bid for Senate District 29.

FMA PAC President, Dr. Doug Murphy stated, “The FMA PAC is honored to endorse Rep. Tina Polsky for Senate District 29. We have worked with Tina during her time in the House and are impressed with her dedication to her constituents. We look forward to continuing to work with her to address the health care needs of Floridians while she serves in the Senate.”

"Making sure that doctors and all medical professionals have the resources they need to fight back against the spread of COVID-19 is critical. In the State Senate, I’ll be a strong advocate for these frontline heroes putting themselves at risk on a daily basis to take care of all Floridians.  Public health is not about partisanship — it’s about science and compassion. I look forward to promoting both," said Polsky.

Florida’s Senate District 29 includes parts of Broward and Palm Beach counties. This is an open seat currently held by State Sen. Kevin Rader (D-Boca Raton), who is not seeking re-election.

About Tina Polsky
State Rep. Tina Polsky (D-Boca Raton) was first elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2018 and promised to fight tooth-and-nail for Democratic values in Tallahassee and to provide first-rate constituent services to the people of the district. Her goal is to give everyone in Broward and Palm Beach counties a voice in government. In the State Senate, she’ll make sure that government prioritizes emergency preparedness so that we’re equipped to adequately respond to public health crises until a COVID-19 vaccine is developed.
