Florida Medical Center’s Chief Executive Officer, Trey Abshier, and several members of the staff participated in the third annual Rainbow Run to support the LGBTQ community. The Rainbow Run is the newest part of The Pride Center’s Health initiative. Florida Medical Center is the only hospital in Broward County to achieve recognition as a leader in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or Questioning (LGBTQ) Healthcare Equality by the Foundation of the Human Rights Campaign and the largest civil rights organization in the United States.
