Florida Medical Center Robotic Program is celebrating performing its 1700th da Vinci Robotic surgical case. This momentous event was led by Dr. Fernando Bayron, general surgeon, and medical director of the bariatric program at Florida Medical Center. “Our team has accomplished an incredible feat by completing 1700 cases in the last few years. We are very proud of our minimally invasive surgery program achieving this milestone,” said Jeffrey M. Welch, CEO at Florida Medical Center.  The robotic program at Florida Medical Center is also a leader within the hospital’s parent company, Tenet Healthcare, with the most robotic surgeries to date.
