Good Samaritan Medical Center held a ribbon cutting event for the opening of its new cardiac catheterization (cath) lab and CT diagnostic imaging system. The new cardiac cath lab and CT system boasts advanced technology that will enhance the hospital’s level of service in diagnosing and treating heart disease-the leading cause of death for Americans age 35 and older.
“We are proud to unveil our new cardiac cath lab that is equipped with some of the latest interventional cardiovascular imaging technology,” said Good Samaritan Medical Center CEO Mark Nosacka. “This system combined with our new Aquilion® 64 CT will allow our physicians to complete a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures faster, and that means the patient can be on their way to recovery and discharge much sooner.”
