The Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce announced a new strategic partnership with the Florida Atlantic University Alumni Association to invest in its revitalized program for business professionals under the age of 40. The FAU Alumni Association has committed to investing $10,000 in supporting the growth and development of Professionals United for Leadership, Service and Empowerment (PULSE).

PULSE is a program created by the Boca Chamber to serve as a resource for its members who are under the age of 40.

“The Chamber’s PULSE program has worked very hard to create a networking environment which engages and educates its attendees,” said Troy M. McLellan, CCE, President & CEO of the Boca Chamber. “The success of their endeavors is attracting attention and this latest partnership with the FAU National Alumni Association will only strengthen the program’s growing reputation. Our young professionals represent the future leadership of our community and the Boca Chamber strongly supports the development of these business leaders.”

PULSE program, and its current 11-member steering committee, has focused on bringing high quality, educational events and networking opportunities to a growing group of young business professionals. These efforts have managed to attract the area’s brightest young professionals to events which included high-profile keynote speakers such as Daniel Cane, Jane Teague and more.

“The Chamber’s PULSE program is the perfect opportunity for FAU’s Alumni Association to get further involved with our local business community. By providing opportunities to attract and retain young talent as well as the expertise of our faculty, PULSE members will find FAU a great resource for the business community,” said Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Vice President of Community Engagement for FAU.
