Annual “Dreamcatcher” Benefit Raised More Than $500,000 for Hanley’s Lifesaving Work

April 12, 2022  – Dreams were alive at the Sailfish Club in Palm Beach as more than 250 Hanley Foundation supporters came together on March 31, 2022, to bring awareness to alcohol and drug prevention and treatment efforts. The annual Palm Beach Dinner Dreamcatcher benefit was chaired by Judy and Fritz Van der Grift and Stacey Leuliette. A record-breaking $500,000 was raised and all proceeds will go towards Hanley Foundation’s lifesaving work.

Guests enjoyed a welcome reception of passed hors d’oeuvres and mingled as they bid on one-of-a-kind silent auction items. The reception was followed by an elaborate dinner and live entertainment.

“After a year hiatus because of the pandemic, we are thrilled to be back for our annual Palm Beach Dinner,” said Turner Benoit, Chief Philanthropy Officer for Hanley Foundation. “Our mission is combating addiction – a disease that can rob those affected of their lifelong dreams. Last year Hanley Foundation provided prevention programing for over 50,000 children and treatment scholarships for more than 300 individuals in need of quality care. With your continued support, more dreams will be restored, more families will be reunited, and more lives will be saved. Thank you for being our advocates!”

Hanley Foundation envisions a world free of addiction, leading the way as the largest provider of educational programs that prevent underage drinking in the State of Florida. In addition to offering treatment scholarships to those in need and facilitating trainings to identify the signs of substance misuse, the Foundation works to reduce stigma and change policy through its advocacy efforts. The Foundation’s mission is to eliminate addiction through prevention, advocacy, treatment, and recovery support.
