October 5, 2022 – HCA Florida University Hospital, a 165-bed facility, and part of HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare system in the state, today announced the addition of Dr. Alexandr Aylyarov as a sports medicine surgeon. In this role, Dr. Aylyarov will enhance the orthopedic surgery program at HCA Florida University Hospital.
Aylyarov is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, elbow, and knee arthroscopic surgeries. He also provides fracture care throughout the body.

Aylyarov attended the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences and completed his orthopedic surgical residency at SUNY Downstate in New York. He completed his fellowship at UHZ Sports Medicine Institute in Miami, Florida, where he provided care to some of South Florida’s top athletes as an assistant team physician to the Miami Heat, Florida International University, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
