He is a proven senior-level public service professional who has successfully led policy changes and projects benefiting underserved communities.
David J. Clark, Senior Vice President of Operations at Broward Health System, is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of safe, high-quality patient services across the hospital district. His expertise spans healthcare administration, major capital planning, growth strategy, and fiscal management. Clark is experienced in transformational leadership, cultural shifts, influencing decisions, and implementing change management.
Alexander M. Fernandez, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for VITAS Healthcare, oversees the company’s finance, accounting, and investor relations functions. A member of Leadership Florida’s Cornerstone Class 40, Fernandez shapes the healthcare finance landscape with leadership, dedication, and a commitment to public service.
