Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center (PBGMC) recently announced that five of its Cardiac Surgery Registered Nurse First Assistants (RNFA) have been named to the Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting (EVH) Leadership Circle. This recognition comes from Guidant Corporation, makers of the VasoView® System, technology used in these procedures.

Eligibility for nomination into the EVH Leadership Circle is based on a harvester’s total number of cases or number of years of EVH. The PBGMC RNFAs were named to the Platinum circle for completing over 2500 cases in five years. The RNFAs include: Donna Morgan, RN, BSN, CNOR, RNFA, assistant manager, open heart surgery; Ann Spaziani, RN, CNOR, RNFA; Rachel Posset, RN, BSN, CNOR, RNFA; Marlene Forrest, RN, CNOR, RNFA; and Margaret Hickey, RN, CNOR, RNFA.
