Hialeah Hospital has named Anilton Afonso their 2008 Employee of the Year. Anilton has been employed at Hialeah Hospital for the last 31 years in a variety of positions including working as a housekeeper, an orderly assigned to patient discharges and transfers, a transporter and finally pharmacy technician. Currently, Anilton is in charge of preparing medications in the IV Room in the Pharmacy.
