Daniel Armstrong, Ph.D., has been named the chief administrative officer of Holtz Children’s Hospital and the Jackson Memorial Hospital Women’s Hospital Center. Dr. Armstrong served in this role on an interim basis since October 2010, and is also associate chief of staff of Holtz.A nationally and internationally recognized leader in the field of neurocognitive function in children, Dr. Armstrong has been an integral part of Jackson and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine since 1985. He continues to serve as the director of UM’s Mailman Center for Child Development and associate chair of UM’s Department of Pediatrics.
