March 21, 2022 – In continuing to expand its geographic footprint, Holy Cross Health has opened a new outpatient rehabilitation facility at 1650 N. Federal Highway in Pompano Beach.
This is the seventh Holy Cross Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute to open in Broward County offering one-on-one individualized physical therapy through a comprehensive continuum of care to meet patients’ rehabilitation needs. The new location in Pompano Beach will eventually include a range of occupational therapy services as well.
“This is the latest location where our patients have access to outpatient rehabilitation close to where they live and work,” said Holy Cross Health Chief Operating Officer Stonish Pierce. “We are fully equipped in all our locations to serve the community with the highest level of compassionate care by a team of highly skilled therapists. Many of these patients are recovering from serious conditions that affect their daily functioning and independence.”
This addition to the northeast Broward corridor builds upon the stellar Holy Cross Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute presence in Fort Lauderdale and Coral Springs, filling the needs of the local community. The Holy Cross multidisciplinary rehabilitation program encompasses acute medical and post-surgical therapy, acute inpatient rehabilitation, home health services and outpatient rehabilitation. This continuum of care provides convenience in service delivery to patients.
Holy Cross Health also has a 48-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit located on the sixth floor of the hospital at 4725 N. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. The professional team of dedicated therapists and nurses, many of whom are Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses, focuses treatment on each individual patient’s plan of care and rehabilitation goals.
The Holy Cross Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute in Pompano Beach is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hours may be expanded and may include Saturdays as needed. For more information, call 954-781-8011.
