Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale has named Marc H. Bivins, M.D., MBA, as Chief Medical Officer for the hospital.
Dr. Bivins most recently served as medical director for quality and clinical resource management at Broward Health Medical Center. He previously practiced as a hospitalist and founded American Hospitalist Company in Jacksonville, FL.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Bivins completed residency training at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota after completing his undergraduate degree and his M.D. at the University of Miami. In addition he earned his MBA degree at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
