
Mount Sinai Medical Center welcomes Dr. Manuel Berzosa as its newest gastroenterologist.
Dr. Berzosa completed his advanced endoscopy fellowship in 2014 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. In 2013, he completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Berzosa was the chief resident of the internal medicine program at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, and an instructor of medicine at the University of Minnesota.
Mount Sinai Medical Center also welcomes Dr. Bernard Ashby as its newest, full-time attending cardiologist and assistant professor at Columbia University’s Division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Ashby will be seeing patients at Mount Sinai Medical Center’s main campus in Miami Beach as well as Mount Sinai Aventura. He attended medical school at Cornell University in New York and studied health policy at Princeton University in New Jersey. He completed his internship and residency at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, where he was also an assistant professor in the department of medicine. He completed his cardiology training at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC, where he was named chief fellow. Dr. Ashby also completed a postdoctoral clinical and research fellowship in vascular medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
