IRMC Welcomes Internal Medicine Physician Ana Maria Apoltan, MD, FACP

Dr. Apoltan is a board-certified fellow of the American College of Physicians and specializes in Internal Medicine. A native of Romania, she earned her doctorate degree at the School of Medicine in Bucharest. Dr. Apoltan completed fellowships at University Hospital in Romania and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She completed residencies at Yale New Haven Hospital, New York Medical College and St. Vincent Medical Center-Columbia University. Dr. Apoltan held academic appointments as Assistant Clinical Professor and Consulting Physician at Yale University School of Medicine, Midstate Medical Center-Hartford Health Care System, Meriden, Conn. and Saint Vincent Medical Center. Prior to joining IRMC, Dr. Apoltan spent nearly 10 years treating patients in her privately owned practice in Connecticut.
