Jackson Health System Honors Sherma Noel-Buck for Outstanding Achievement

Sherma Noel-Buck, R.N., a nurse educator in the Holtz Children’s Hospital, recently received an “Achiever Award” for her service from Marvin O’Quinn, president and CEO of Jackson Health System, and Ernesto A. de la Fé, chairman of the Public Health Trust. Achiever Awards are presented to employees who best exemplify the values of Jackson Health System. Noel-Buck was selected from over 11,000 Jackson Health System employees.

Noel-Buck was nominated by the mother of a patient who commended her for the way she handled all her issues during her premature son’s stay in isolation in the Project: Newborn Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
