I became an RN in 1977 and received my BSN from FAU in 2004. For my first 19 years at JMC I worked in Critical Care, Nursing Supervision, and Interventional Radiology. Twenty years ago, I made the difficult decision to leave direct patient care moving to Quality Improvement. I soon realized that I was still contributing to patient care, by supporting bedside nurses and physicians in a different way. The nursing profession allows us many opportunities to effect positive outcomes in patient’s lives.

“I enjoy being part of the JMC organization that is recognized as the “Best” and provides world class care! JMC gives me the opportunity to gain experience and advance my career in a supportive environment.” Reflecting over my 47 years, I love being a nurse! I have appreciated all the mentoring, teamwork, friendships, and varied roles nursing allows.
