Dr. George Gurdock is the Teamhealth System Medical Director of Emergency Medicine for the Palm Beach Health Network emergency departments. Dr. Gurdock has been with Tenet Healthcare and the Palm Beach Health Network for over a decade, supporting a team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists and advanced practice clinicians. In addition to his clinical leadership duties, Dr. Gurdock is the past Chief of Staff at Good Samaritan Medical Center and current Vice Chief of Staff.
Dr. Gurdock has been practicing emergency medicine in South Florida since 2004, and has held various leadership positions, including as Good Sam’s Chest Pain Director, and as National Park Service Medical Director for the three parks in Florida: the Everglades, Dry Tortugas and Big Cypress. He has also been involved in higher learning, teaching future healthcare providers, with affiliations to South University and Florida International University Medical School.
Dr. Gurdock attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in emergency medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
