
Peggy Mouracade, M.D., became the 82nd President of the Lee County Medical Society.
Dr. Mary Margaret “Peggy” Magno Mouracade joined our medical community in July of 1997. She is a native of West Virginia. Undergraduate and medical school studies were done at Wake Forest University. She then completed an Internal Medicine residency program and Nephrology fellowship at the University of Florida. She has been in practice with Associates in Nephrology where she has had the opportunity to provide comprehensive nephrology care. Active in the medical community, she has served on several hospital committees including Chair of Medicine for Lee Memorial and Health Park Hospitals. She has board certification for Internal Medicine and Nephrology; she is recognized as a Fellow by the American Society of Nephrology.
