North Shore Medical Center and Tenet Healthcare Foundation recently honored Maria Wilson, R.N., employee health nurse and educator, by donating $500 to her charity of choice, American Cancer Society Miami-Dade County Unit.

“Choosing one outstanding employee at North Shore Medical Center wasnt an easy task,” said Manny Linares, CEO. “However, Maria epitomizes the standards of excellence outlined in the hospitals Target 100 goals. Her positive attitude is represented in all of her work and her efforts truly make North Shore Medical Center a safe place for patients and a great place for employees.”
Wilson served as a nurse manager before being appointed employee health nurse and educator. She chose the American Cancer Society as her charity of choice because of the support and assistance the cancer society has given to her family members stricken with cancer.
