The nurses in Special Deliveries at Good Samaritan Medical Center are certainly a cut about the rest for organizing a recent “cut-a-thon” for Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that provides hair prosthetics to financially-disadvantaged children with medical hair loss. At the end of the day, 20 nurses, doctors, hospital staff members and even a patient had all donated at least 10 inches of hair.
Paul Echelard, CEO, Good Samaritan Medical Center (pictured above), made the first cut at the hospitals “cut-a-thon” to benefit Locks of Love. Recipient of the cut is Michele Klein, R.N., Director, Special Deliveries, who organized the event.
