Martin A. Dytrych, CPA, is the new chairman of the Jupiter Medical Center  Board of Trustees, returning to a leadership role that he previously held two years ago.

“It is an honor to once again be entrusted with the privilege of serving as chairman of the Jupiter Medical Center Board of Trustees,” Dytrych said. “I look forward to working with our board and the hospital’s executive team to ensure that we continue to provide high-quality care in a safe environment and that we maintain our position as a leader in patient satisfaction in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties.”

Dytrych, who has been a member of the hospital’s corporate board since 2010, joined the Board of Trustees in 2012 and went on to serve as chairman from 2015 to 2017. He has served as chairman of the board’s Audit, Compensation, Finance and Governance committees, and has been a member of its Planning and Executive committees.

A certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner and diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Accounting, Dytrych is a principal with Rehmann, a nationally recognized financial services firm that recently merged with Jupiter-based Lamn, Krielow, Dytrych & Co. (LKD). He specializes in tax compliance and planning, litigation support and business planning and consultation. For 13 years, he has served as audit committee chairman and compensation committee chairman for Crystal Rock Holdings, a publicly traded company. In addition to serving on Jupiter Medical Center Board of Trustees, Dytrych serves on the boards of the Diocese of Palm Beach and The Honda Classic. He also served a three-year term as president of the Jupiter Hills Club and for 10 years he was a member of the First Tee of the Palm Beaches Board of Directors.

“Jupiter Medical Center is very fortunate to have Marty as our new chairman,” said Don McKenna, president and chief executive officer. “As we celebrate our 40th anniversary and acknowledge the tremendous growth that our hospital has experienced since opening on February 14, 1979, we can look forward to even greater accomplishments under Marty’s leadership. He brings a broad range of professional expertise, as well as a strong commitment to the community, which will help us to further strengthen our position as a world-class regional medical center.”

Dytrych replaces Robert J. Stilley, who served a two-year term as Jupiter Medical Center’s chairman of the Board of Trustees. Stilley, president and CEO of HeartCare Imaging, Inc., has been a member of the board since 2014. He was named Trustee of the Year by the Florida Hospital Association last October. Stilley remains on the board as vice chairman.

“We are grateful for Bob’s commitment and dedication to Jupiter Medical Center,” Dytrych said. “It is my intention to take on this new position and work with the same passion and drive that he demonstrated throughout his tenure as chairman.”
In addition to naming Dytrych as its new chairman, the medical center formalized the appointment of Peter Lund to the Board of Trustees, as well as the reappointment of Paul Chiapparone, Rosanne M. Duane, Esq.; and Andres Suarez, MD. Along with the new and reappointed members, the following physicians and community members currently serve on the Board of Trustees: Henri J.
