Three Martin Health nurses have been selected as regional winners in the 2014 NURSE.com GEM (Giving Excellence Meaning) awards program. They are among six nurses from the Florida region who will move on to the national awards program which will be announced in late summer.The Martin Health GEM award recipients are:
• Gina All, RN, BSN, CNOR, patient care leader, perioperative services for Tradition Medical Center in Port St. Lucie. All was selected for the GEM award in the Patient and Staff Management category.
• Margarita Johnston, RN, perioperative nurse. Johnston was selected for the GEM award in the Clinical Nursing, Inpatient category
• Meredith Norkus, RN, BSN, CPEN, CNML, clinical nurse educator for emergency services at Martin Health System. Norkus was selected for the GEM award in the Education and Mentorship category
