The Martin Health System Board of Directors has announced the successor for Mark Robitaille, president and chief executive officer, who will retire within the next year. After an extensive evaluation and search process, Rob Lord, currently Martin Health’s senior vice president and chief operating office, has been selected to serve as the organization’s next president.
 
Lord joined Martin Health in 1998 as vice president and chief legal officer and has served as senior vice president and chief operating officer since 2014. Beginning in 2012, Lord played a pivotal role in the development of Tradition Medical Center when he was named senior vice president, system facilities management, and Tradition Medical Center campus leader.
 
A graduate of Stetson University College of Law and Florida State University, Lord holds board certification as a healthcare executive from the American College of Healthcare Executives. The Florida Bar has also recognized him as a board certified specialist in health law.
