Hematologist oncologist Brian Hunis, M.D., has joined Memorial Cancer Institute as Medical Director of Quality Initiatives and a physician member of the Memorial Physician Group.Dr. Hunis is board-certified in hematology oncology. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Maimonides in Buenos Aires in 2001. He completed his internship and residency in hematology/oncology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and completed his fellowship in hematology/oncology there in 2009. Before relocating to South Florida, he served as Medical Director, Medical Oncology/Hematology, at the Self Regional Healthcare Cancer Center in Greenwood, SC.
