| Memorial Regional Hospital, which has a Level I Trauma Center, has promoted two physicians to leadership positions. Andrew Rosenthal, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.S., was appointed associate director of Trauma Services, and Seong K. Lee, M.D., has been appointed as Medical Director for Surgical Critical Care. |
Dr. Rosenthal completed his residency at the University of Illinois Metropolitan Group Hospitals and attended Emory University School of Medicine as a fellow in surgical critical care and trauma. Dr. Rosenthal first joined Memorial Regional Hospitals Trauma Program as a member of the general surgery trauma team in August 2006. |
Dr. Lee was a National Institute of Health (NIH) Trauma Training Research Fellow from UCSF/San Francisco General Hospital and Surgical Research Laboratory from 2000-2002. He completed his residency training in the Department of Surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2005. He completed his fellowship training in critical care at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in June 2006. A month later, Dr. Lee joined the Memorial Trauma Program as a member of the general surgery trauma team. |
