Miami Jewish Health Systems Appoints Mary Jane Damavandi, RN, BSN, MSHSA, as Director of Nursing

Miami Jewish Health Systems recently appointed Mary Jane “MJ” Damavandi to Director of Nursing. With a distinguished career in nursing at the staff, managerial and executive levels in South Florida hospitals, Damavandi was first brought into Miami Jewish Health Systems as a consultant in late 2013 and soon asked to join the organization’s staff full-time.

Prior to joining Miami Jewish Health Systems, Damavandi held the position of Chief Nursing Officer at Florida Medical Center.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University in addition to Master’s of Science in Health Service Administration from Barry University.
