November 1, 2022 Michael Gallo, M.D., joins Baptist Health as a sleep medicine physician with the cardiology team after completing his fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.

“We’re honored to welcome Dr. Gallo to the Baptist Health family,” said Jonathan Fialkow, M.D., deputy director of Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, chief of cardiology and co-medical director of the lipid management program at the Institute. “His general surgery background and dedication to guiding patients through their sleep disorder treatment options make him an outstanding asset to both our team and our community.”

Inspired by his father to become a physician, Dr. Gallo is committed to making a difference in patients’ lives. He is skilled in managing complex cases by utilizing evidence-based medicine. Dr. Gallo’s experience spans a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, urgent cares and clinic settings.

“I enjoy helping people overcome their sleep disorders and providing them a better quality of life. I make sure all my patients completely understand their diagnoses and available treatment options to ensure the best outcomes,” said Dr. Gallo.

Dr. Gallo is part of Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute Cardiology Group. The team is composed of the most accomplished and respected professionals in their field. These top-tier physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants and clinical pharmacists work hand in hand to create a personalized approach for each and every patient.
