October 30 2020 – Mount Sinai Medical Center Reports : As we continue to monitor an increase in cases of COVID-19 around the country and in South Florida, we are modifying our visitor policy, in an abundance of caution.

Effective today, October 30, 2020, we will not be allowing visitors at our medical center.
Only patients will be permitted in our emergency centers in Miami Beach, Aventura and Hialeah. No visitors will be allowed to accompany them into the lobby.
Limited exceptions may be made for certain critically ill patients, patients at or approaching “end of life” or pediatric patients.
Visitor exceptions are restricted to adults only (18 years+) who have been cleared through our COVID-19 screening process.
Our Labor and Delivery Unit visitor policy remains unchanged.

We remain deeply committed to the health and safety our community.  Thank you for entrusting us with your care.
