May 1st, 2019 – Mount Sinai Medical Center has opened its 11th primary and specialty care office at 2504 Biscayne Boulevard in the Midtown/Edgewater area of Miami. The facility will initially offer appointments for primary care and cardiology, with the availability of same-day or next-day appointments if desired.  “We are consistently working to make it as convenient as possible for people to access high-quality medical care by continuing to expand services right in their own neighborhoods,” said Steven D. Sonenreich, President and Chief Executive Officer for Mount Sinai Medical Center. “Most importantly, a proactive healthcare experience begins with a continuing relationship with a primary care physician, and providing access is the first step in helping patients manage their health.”

This past March, Mount Sinai was chosen as one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® by IBM Watson Health for the second consecutive year, the only hospital in South Florida to be named to the list. Based on results culled from an annual study of publicly available clinical, operational and patient satisfaction metrics, this recognition positions Mount Sinai among the top-performing hospitals in the U.S. The study, conducted every year since 1993, uses independent and objective research to gauge hospital performance records.
