Gurnam S. Rao, MBA, CIA, senior internal auditor for the North Broward Hospital District, recently received the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the leading provider of anti-fraud training and education.
The ACFEs Board of Regents awards the designation to select professionals who meet a stringent set of criteria, including character, experience and education. Rao, who has been with the District for four years, successfully met the criteria and joins the ranks of more than 16,000 business and government professionals worldwide who have earned the CFE designation.
