The statewide law firm Broad and Cassel announces the addition of healthcare lawyer Nichole Geary to its growing Health Law Practice Group. Geary has a strong background in regulatory matters at the state and federal level, and will work out of the firm’s West Palm Beach office.During her career, Geary has provided legal counsel in such areas as CON/ASC laws, corporate practice of medicine laws, FDA, FTC and HIPAA compliance; transactional matters, including non-compete agreements, physician and vendor contract review, and commercial lease review; general risk management matters; and litigation support for medical malpractice and consumer action claims.
Most recently an associate at Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell in Miami, Geary holds a bachelor’s degree from Knox College in Galesburg, IL, and received her juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a member of the prestigious Moot Court Board and student editor for the University of Miami Law Review’s Jotwell legal blog. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
