North Broward Hospital District Appoints Vice President/Chief Information Officer

Doris P. Crain has been appointed Vice President/Chief Information Officer for the North Broward Hospital District (NBHD).

With more than 20 years experience in healthcare operations and consulting, Crain was most recently the Vice President of Information Technology and Telecommunications Departments for Holy Cross Health Ministries. She also held the position of Regional Vice President of Information Technology in Southeast Florida for Catholic Health East. Crain also served as the Vice President of Information Technology for IntraCoastal Health System.

Crain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from Western Carolina University, and a Masters degree in Medical Science from Emory University. She is a currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Phoenix.
