The North Broward Hospital District (NBHD) Board of Commissioners recently elected Andrew Klein, Esq., to serve as chairman.
Chairman Klein is the managing attorney at Klein Law Group, PLLC, a firm specializing in communications law. He maintains a national communications practice, representing communications companies in a variety of regulatory, litigation, compliance and contract matters, in court and before the Federal Communications Commission, NYPSC, and state public utility commissions nationwide. He previously served as session counsel to the New York Public Service Commission, where he reviewed and coordinated all session items presented for consideration in each of the five industries regulated by the commission. He received a bachelor’s of economics and a bachelor’s of government from Clark University and a juris doctor from Albany Law School. Gov. Scott appointed Klein to fill a vacant seat for a term beginning August 25, 2017, and ending December 13, 2020.
