November 5 2020 – North Shore Medical Center is recognized by the Healthy Start Coalition of Miami-Dade in the areas of maternal, infant and child health for offering healthy start postnatal risk screens to infants, and obtaining 95% or higher consent rate in 2018 and 2019. “The Mother Baby Team deserves to be recognized for their commitment and dedication to care for the babies in our community,” said Mark Racicot, hospital CEO  “We thank them all for their service.” 
 
The Healthy Start Coalition of Miami-Dade (HSCMD) is a community-based non-profit organization designated by the State of Florida Department of Health to serve as Miami-Dade County’s prenatal and infant care coalition.
