Dr. Quidley-Rodriguez received the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurse Educators. This award recognizes nursing faculty who inspire and educate future nurses with skill and dedication. It honors educators who go above and beyond to mentor and support their students, exemplifying the values of compassion and excellence in nursing education. More than 500 nursing schools have adopted The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Faculty to celebrate nursing educators who inspire their students. Dr. Quidley-Rodriguez is also a psychiatric-mental health registered nurse who has worked in acute crisis stabilization units providing care to people across the lifespan. His research interests include health disparities among the LGBTQIA+ community where he seeks ways to address these disparities and promote health equity.
