Scholarships available from your employer to help Finance training towards your professional certification.
Growing demands for medical records and patient care offer a bright future for those who enjoy working in the medical environment. Worker certifications are the key to fulfilling knowledge requirements for the higher level positions. However, the financial burden of a medical training program is usually greater than most workers can afford. This is why a new program to aide those eager to obtain their work certification has been created in cooperation with many of South Floridas health providers. Scholarship grants will be awarded by the health facility to their deserving and chosen employees. The benefits for the facility and their employees are obvious. Eligible facilities include but are not limited to hospitals, clinics, doctors offices, nursing care facilities and home office or outbound medical personnel employed by any medical facility. Recipients will be chosen by a supervisory staff member, HR or a doctor. Eligibility requirements are only the desire for career advancement in the medical industry and specifically in the following fields: Medical Coding, Medical Assistant and Medical Transcriptionist. FastTrain, recently awarded “School of the Year” by FAPSC*, is making this possible for the first time to help educate and fill the positions that often require certifications or a higher level of knowledge and expertise. FastTrain will not decide who receives these awards. Rather it will be decided by the doctor, HR department or managerial staff at each facility. If your facility did not receive information about these funds or did not receive their scholarship allotments, please contact FastTrain toll free during normal business hours at 866-327-8872.
