Board-certified, fellowship trained, medical oncologist hematologist, Dr. Krol joins the multidisciplinary team of experts at Jupiter Medical Center’s Anderson Family Cancer Institute. She specializes in cancer prevention, high-risk assessment, and the treatment of breast and gynecologic cancers, providing personalized and evidence-based medicine.
Prior to joining Jupiter Medical Center, Dr. Krol served as a medical oncologist specializing in breast and gynecologic cancers for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Oncology Center of Excellence. She also was the Cancer Prevention and Risk Reduction Scientific Expert for the FDA Oncology Center of Excellence Nation and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). At the NCI she served in the Division of Cancer Prevention for breast and gynecologic cancer and was a member of the working group for supportive care and symptom management.
Dr. Krol also spent several years as an ABC News Medical Unit Health Care Journalist in New York City, working exclusively on medical breaking news for Good Morning America, World News, Nightline, and ABC 7 New York Health & Wellness segments.
