The Florida Board of Nursing has granted full approval to Palm Beach Atlantic University’s School of Nursing for its baccalaureate degree program.

“This achievement marks another milestone for the University’s nursing program,” Dr. Joanne Masella, dean of Palm Beach Atlantic University’s School of Nursing, said. “I am grateful to God for guiding the faculty and staff to this accomplishment.”

Palm Beach Atlantic’s School of Nursing was provisionally approved by the nursing board pending documented compliance with all standards of nursing education, including that graduates pass the national licensing exam at a level designated by the board.

The 2008 graduating class achieved a perfect pass rate on the national licensing exam. All 22 graduates passed the examination on their first attempt.
