Palmetto General Hospital Adds Chief Financial Officer

Palmetto General Hospital (PGH) has named Oscar C. Vicente, Jr., chief financial officer.

Prior to joining PGH, Vicente worked as vice president of finance, chief financial officer and ethics and compliance officer with Westside Regional Medical Center. Before this, he worked as vice president of finance, chief financial officer and chief operating officer with the Miami Heart Institute. He also served in similar positions at Deering Hospital and at Kendall Regional Medical Center. Vicente, who is a state of Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA), graduated from Florida State University in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
